The University of Rzeszow Library provides access to its collections through five specialized scientific reading rooms:

Humanities and Law Reading Room - Reading Room II (1st floor) 
Czytelnia Nauk Humanistycznych i PrawnychThis reading room houses a wide range of books related to humanities, including Polish and foreign fiction, linguistics, law, religious studies, philosophy, sociology, psychology, pedagogy, history, foreign languages, economics, and political science
Additionally, it serves as the location for the Media Library of the Goethe Institute, which features a predominantly German-language methodical collection
Books available in the Humanities and Legal Studies Reading Room are labeled with the reference "II cz" (e.g., II cz A-59). 
    

Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Statistics Reading Room - Reading Room I (ground floor)
Czytelnia Matematyczno-Przyrodnicza The Mathematics and Natural Science Reading Room is an open-access reading area housing books related to mathematics and the natural sciences. This includes mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering and technology, ecology, biology, chemistry, medicine, agriculture, physical culture, and tourism.
The books in this reading room are categorized as "I part" (e.g., I part IX-86). 
    

Research Information (1st floor)
Informacja NaukowaThe Research Information department collects various types of informative publications, including bibliographies, dictionaries, encyclopedias, lexicons, and books authored by University of Rzeszów employees. There are 14 computer workstations available for accessing national and foreign databases subscribed by the library, which are accessible online. Additionally, the "Migroteka" book collection is also accessible in the Research Information section.
Books located in the Research Information section are marked with an "inf." reference (e.g., inf. D/VI-125, inf. NALEPA Marek-3). 
    

Scientific Journals Reading Room (1st floor)
Czytelnia Czasopism NaukowychThe Scientific Journals Reading Room offers access to over 2,100 titles of scientific journals. This collection includes approximately 500 Polish and 70 foreign titles. There are five computer workstations available for readers.
Journals in this room are identified by the reference "C" and "PC" (e.g., C 02565).
    

The "Pigonianum" Polish Studies Workshop (ground floor) 
Pigonianum The "Pigonianum" is a dedicated space housing the private book collection of Professor Stanisław Pigoń. This collection comprises over 9,000 volumes of books focused on Polish philology, with a particular emphasis on the Romantic period.
Books in the Pigonianum collection are marked with the signature "Pig." (e.g., Pig. 260044).
 

 

Special Collections Department (1st floor)
Pracownia Zbiorów SpecjalnychThe Special Collections Department is home to a valuable collection of approximately 24,000 inventory units, including old prints, manuscripts, cartographic collections, photocopies, graphics, microfilms, slides, standards, documents of social life, 19th-century books, school reports from Galicia, audio, audiovisual, and electronic documents. Additionally, doctoral theses defended at the University of Rzeszów are available here.
Collections in the Special Collections Department are identified by the reference numbers "ZS" and "PZS" (e.g., ZS 108739).
    

Reading Inventory
Books with reference numbers "cz," "Pcz/m," "Pcz," and "Pinf." are stored in the storeroom and can only be used on-site. To access them, they must be requested through a computer to the reading room of your choice.
